Private Classes, Mentoring and Open Studio Time
Perhaps you'd like to expand your color palette, try abstract painting or explore working with new materials, techniques and ways to combine them.
By focusing on exploration and process, you will strengthen your skills, develop a deeper understanding of who you are as an artist and express yourself more confidently in your work.
Cost: $35 per one hour class; bring your own paints and surface for painting. Additional materials to help you explore new techniques will be provided.
Private Critiques & Mentoring
“I dwell in possibility.” —Emily Dickinson
Creating is more than learning and applying techniques; it's a personal process through which we are continuously evolving and growing.
Mentoring sessions help with that growth. A facilitator listens carefully and helps you identify what's happening in your process, then also helps you come up with ways to stay motivated and take positive small action steps in the direction of your desires.
For critiques, please send an email to me several days before your scheduled session with some questions and several jpg images. We'll discuss what's working in your paintings, what can be improved and ideas to help you move work forward.
Creating is a process of choice-making, taking action and refining, and each person's process is unique. Get to know what type of practice works best for you; knowing will help you build on your strengths and make more informed choices about your work and directions.
An introductory, free 20-minute session is available to discuss how we might work together in ways that will benefit your process.
Please email me at to set up your introductory session.
Cost: $60 per hour, can be divided into two 1/2 hour sessions.
