May 13, 9:30- 12:30, workshop at the Memorial Art Gallery's Creative Workshop called "Improvisations and Innovations," Course description: As artists we search for authentic voice and expression, but sometimes the vast array of materials and techniques available can overwhelm us. We can reawaken our own unique voices by taking away familiar tools and materials and limiting our resources. In this workshop, you’ll recycle and repurpose everyday objects and transform them using needles and threads and your wild imaginings to create a work of art.
